Friday is the worst for me. However I hardly have any time to post anything on the weekends anyway. Most people have got plans on the weekend and hardly spend as much time on the pc as they would on a weekday. I'm either doing homework or going for a drink to watch football.

I think Sunday is a good day, partly because there is nothing to do that day. Except if it's Super Bowl Sunday!

Weekends are usually the lowest days, and holiday weekends are the worst for me.

I agree with alexdesigns on the audience relationship to the content. Wednesday is often a big day for traditional media to feature food, so I'm sure that's why I tend to uptick a bit on Wednesdays.

Monday afternoon or Tuesday are usually the best days to post your best articles. Then Thursdays can generate decent traffic for me. But it is really just a result of your target audience. Figure out who your audience and then determine what is the best time/day. Ex, if your article is about football Thursday, Friday and Saturday may have the best traffic before Sunday kickoff.

I actually get a lot of traffic on Sundays, which is odd -- there's a Green Thumb Sunday meme that I usually participate in, and I think that drives a lot of traffic. But I have fallen into a pattern of posting every other day on each of my blogs -- odd days on The Inadvertent Gardener and even days on 100 Proof. It seems to be working well for me, and has provided some structure for my planning and posting.

Most of my traffic is on Mon, Tues, and Thurs. Friday is the slowest day.

Weekends are always a really low time for me, not sure why. My RSS dips a lot while visits remain about normal. Go figure.

Tues-Thurs are traditionally the best days of traffic for any sites on the web. I never kept a particular day in mind when publishing, I just published when it was done.

I publish posts 3 times a week on my blog - Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. I used to post on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, but Friday seemed to bring not much traffic, notwithstanding the post... So I switched to Tuesday and Thursday, and I've noticed that most of my traffic comes on Thursdays.

What's your situation? I wonder whether it's common to everybody or it's just me...
