So I've been cruising through this site for a couple days now and I've noticed a couple things.
First of all it seems to be pretty new, which is cool because it's always interesting to see sites grow and develop.
Second of all, I'm not really sure how the point system works...I know you can give points and spend them on a banner for your page, but when you give points, do they come out of the amount you have stored up? Is the thought that you'll get these points back as you make friends and give out more points?
Also, how many points is required for what? It seems to be what you feel is right, after considering the note you read or the clip, but is there some unwritten rule of politness?
Things I need to do on Wriging:
1) Get these questions answered...I'm hoping someone will stumble across this post and help me out a bit.
2) Make some friends!
3) Re-size a pic so I can get a avatar, that weird smiley face is getting old (:

Well you might not be aware of this and this is definitely something we need to improve on across all the sites, but this site is part of a network so not only can you participate on Wriging with this account, but 9 other sites as well. However, if this is the only site that interests you feel free to stay over here.
Points:
As of right now you can give your points to others for any reason you feel, but most reward points for making great points in discussions. As you can see we've added buttons to allow you to quickly give 1,3 or 5 points to anyone. You can also spend the points in the store which of right now only currently holds headers, but we intend on expanding it in the future.
There is no set requirement for how many points you give to an individual and I don't think a policy has been set with regards to it, but I usually hand out 5-10 points for great content.

Annnd I didn't know about the points being given for starting notes either, or replying to one.
