Sir Arthur Clarke died of a cardio-respiratory attack in his home in Sri Lanka.
I read a lot of his works in Middle/High School... alongside Isaac Asimov. My favorite thing about the guy was his ability to predict technologies based on logical progression of scientific knowledge. It's what made his "fiction" so real.
You will be missed.
